Pritchard Engineering, Inc. occupies a 4000 square foot engineering design and administrative office. Pritchard Testing, Inc. occupies a 2250 square foot testing laboratory. We offer extensive services to developers of commercial and industrial facilities including a complete design package that consists of construction plans for grading and drainage, underground utilities, erosion and storm water management, road and parking lot layout, construction layout and boundary and topographic surveys.

Pritchard Engineering personnel have provided materials engineering services to a wide variety of private, commercial, municipal, and industrial clients.   We work closely with the owner and engineers, as well as the contractor and his subcontractors, during the construction phase to provide responsive feedback as construction progresses. Our laboratory technicians inspect, test, and certify every type soils and construction materials required by project specifications.

After construction, we review the test data and provide summary documentation for the project.  From initial project design through final approval, our laboratory services ensure rapid and timely test turnaround.

Field survey data acquisition is performed utilizing state of the art electronic robotic and GPS based total station instruments.  Download and design are accomplished utilizing AutoDesk Civil 3D 2015.  At present, a total of ten (10) computer stations are available for the various technical job tasks. Geotechnical exploration and sampling is performed by experienced Pritchard Engineering personnel utilizing two (2) tractor mounted Giddings Model TS-25 and TS-35 hydraulic boring rigs.  These rigs are 4WD tractor mounted providing for access in all terrain with drilling and sampling capability utilizing split-spoon or undisturbed Shelby tube techniques to depths approaching 100 feet.
