Phase I Environmental Assessments are intended to identify recognized environmental hazards in general accordance with criteria stipulated by ASTM Practice E 1527-97 Standard Practice for Environmental Site Assessments: Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Process. As defined by the reference standard, the assessment process consists of four (4) primary components including record review, site reconnaissance, interviews, and report preparation.
